She knows when I’m feeling bad. I’m fighting cancer and on bad days, she lays next to me and pushes herself up against me as hard as she can.
She started out as a feral kitten and didn’t want anything to do with people. I left her alone so that she could adjust to being in my house. It took 9 months, but finally she let me pet her. She would still hide behind the couch when people would come over, but now they have to pass a full inspection from her and then she’ll let them pet her. Plus she and I made a 2500 mile trip this past year, to a new home. She did great. Not too big on people food, but she loves eggs. So I must always share.
