She destroys all toys & likes to try to eat the remains 😬...so her only choice is durable chew toys which she loves. Any treat will do but Ember loves and next to demands a topping on her food...green beans or bone broth are her favs.
Ember's most unique quality is her serious, judgemental eyes. She is so happy but sometimes looks miserable & kind of like no one is worthy of her presence 🤣. When she's jealous of any attention not directed to her, she has mastered the "side-eye".
Ember was pulled from a scheduled euthanasia the day before. The day that I decided to start looking for another rescue, which had been delayed by my father's struggle with dementia and that road ending, my other pets' boarding facility posted her for adoption. My dad's favorite dog was a dalmatian and we had a special one during my childhood for 14 years. Ember was sent to me...no doubt about it. Also, his career was a timber cruiser so her nickname is nothing other than Ember Timber.
