Receive Text UpdatesGidget has a small beige mouse that she loves to play fetch with. When she tires of the game, she hides it under my dresser. She then stares under it for days until I get the flashlight out and retrieve the toy. Her go-to treat is Temptations. She plays my husband and me against each other and gets more treats than she needs.
Gidget is an excellent hunter even though she is an indoor cat. She could be sound asleep but if she hears a fly buzz by, she's on it. Here, in Ohio, we have flying stink bugs and they are very good about getting in your house. If the bug is out of her reach, she'll stare (point) at it until we get a tissue and remove it. She has alerted us, on two different occasions, by meowing loudly and staring, that there was a bat in the house.
She has a human-like personality and is super intelligent. She wakes up my husband, Gary every morning and waits for him in the family room to get her morning brushing. And, as previously mentioned, she's BEAUTIFUL! Gidget would look gorgeous on the cover of the Modern Cat Magazine.
