Gizmo is fierce at first, but once she accepts you, it’s 24/7 sweetness. A 10-pound bundle of joy and comedy, who adores her red blanket.

Learn MoreGizmo’s favorite treat is beef or chicken jerky, avocado, vanilla yogurt, plain yogurt, any yogurt, tacos, bacon, freeze dried liver, soup of any kind, pancakes, eggs, French fries, my dinner, your dinner, anything you give her, anything she finds on the sidewalk, anything edible really. She has the most puppiest of puppy eyes, so it’s hard to say no. But definitely not oranges or lemons or peaches.
Gizmo gets a little upset when she hears bicycle bells and has a couple of short “stop that” woofs in response to hearing them. Happens even when she’s sleeping, with a little “hmph!” I like to imagine her riding a tricycle, with a tiny helicopter hat, and every time she rings her bell she also can’t help letting out an angry woof. Ya know, if she could ride a tricycle.
Gizmo is a bouncy, happy-go-lucky pup, but also tough. She is a terrier mix of unknown origin, was found surviving on the streets, and has a healthy sense of self preservation. She has the biggest little heart for those she loves & protects and has the most delightful personality. Gizmo is so full of joy and hilarity, and makes everyone smile (even if she’s barking at you!). Just that face even! We feel unbelievably lucky to have found her and wish *everyone* could have a Gizmo in their life.
