GUS

Gus is my rescue Chorkie in more ways than one. I developed Psoriatic Arthritis shortly after adopting him and he makes me walk twice a day.

What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Believe it or not his favorite toy is a Mr. Bill toy that says “oh no!” every time he squeezes it. He’s also crazy about bananas as a go to treat.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Gus thinks he’s a 75 pound watch dog even though he’s 12 pounds soaking wet. He’ll run from the front door to the side window proudly telling us everyone who dares to walk past our home.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Gus has had a pretty tough life in his short three years. He was found as a stray in the NC mountains and adopted by a couple that had to return him to the shelter due to illness. He’s adjusted very well and has become an integral part of our family.
