Gus absolutely has a toy for each of his moods, emotions, and presumptions based on what I’m doing- for example if he’s playing solo it’ll be his favorite mini tennis ball or a squeaky. If he sees me getting ready and senses he’s coming or he knows we’re going for a walk, it’s his nylabone in which he chews very intensely. Gus is a Pug and does not discriminate treats. All treats are go to treats- but I choose healthy options mostly for him.
Gus loves to softly gum bite hoomans ears when playing. He’s in a band called the hoomanears (lumeniers) get it? He also will gum honk your nose and run into a zoomie.
Because! Not only is he beyond adorable but he saved my life. Truly. My mental health was in the worst shape when I got him from the shelter. He is hope and unconditional love. BUT ALSO- he prioritizes his walks based on the shops, gyms, and homes in my community that give out complimentary doggie treats. He knows EVERY SINGLE PLACE that gives out snacks! It’s hilarious!
