It took Josie a few months to learn how to play like a dog. She loves to chase balls of any kind. Her treat is bacon and cheese flavored treats. Josie also loves her homemade pumpkin treats.
Even though Josie came to me as a foster, she has become my velcro dog. She has been able to overcome her tough early life and become a very loving dog. Josie sits at the front window or lays by the door and loudly announces visitors, but once I ask her to sit, she becomes the sweetheart I need her to be.
Josie had a very rough life. She lived with 13 other dogs on a farm. Almost all of her front teeth top and bottom are broken from trying to eat her way out of a crate. It took her a while to overcome most of her fears and now loves to cuddle. She plays with her best friend Hermey who has helped her to be more of a dog. For a Rottweiler that tends to get a bad name for a "ferocious" dog, she needs to prove they are a very loving dog and it's ok to adopt an older rescue.
