Kowi (Ko-wee) finds great joy in making friends. He’s a natural comedian, always reminding us of how good it feels to laugh.

What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreKowi LOVES toys and play in general. Stuffed toys and bouncy balls as well as rubber toys with food hidden inside are awesome to him. He loves his Green Juju treats, his Bark Pouches and his favorite go to treats are natural edible chews from Real Dog Box.
Kowi is so easy going and is positivity on four legs. He is happy and willing to make friends with everyone he meets. He is what we call an ancestral breed, a blend of Husky, Malamute and Native American Indian Dog. While some may think of Northern breed dogs as aloof, stubborn, wild and independent, Kowi is a wonderful ambassador game to dismantle stereotypes, proving that a dog that fulfills their needs can be an incredible friend. He is wonderfully smart, kind and hilarious to be around.
Kowi came into our lives when we needed to remember what joy felt like. Native American Indian dogs (NAIDs) are known as Medicine Dogs, and that’s what Kowi has brought to our family and community, especially in the midst of grief: healing medicine in the shape of unbridled joy, resilience, so much laughter not to mention a cloud soft puppy with a superhero mask that genuinely loves people, other animals and life.
