We adopted Lady in 2024. My husband had a previous German Shepard from the Wounded Warriors who passed away, Tank. Tank sent us Lady!

Learn MoreLady loves her yellow chicken! We have sent a picture of her with it in this application. She has many toys, but this one squeaky chicken has been her favorite. We think she is talking to us or trying to tell us something when she bites away at it! Lady loves a good treat! We just found out she's allergic to chicken and beef and was giving her Pup-Peroni's however they are beef! We have switched to more natural treats with apple and peanut butter, and they are better for her waistline!
When we brought Miss Lady home it's like she knew her new dad needed a best friend and protector. She clung right to him and wanted to protect and serve him, just like our previous dog Tank! That is why we believe he sent her to us. Lady picked up on the PTSD and emotional support needed from her dad's time spent in the US Army. She was never trained to be a support dog, she knew she would offer unconditional companionship day one! Therefore, her unique quality is her loyalty to Scott!
Lady should be America's Favorite pet because she is not just adorable, but she is devoted and vigilant! Anyone who adopts a pet only wants the best for them and only hope that pet has the best life. And Miss Lady won the lottery when she came into our family. She is loyal, dedicated and a protector not just to her dad but to the entire house of course! We love her as she is part of our family now and America would love her too!
