Luna's go-to treat is boiled chicken! Whenever we make chicken for ourselves, we are sure to set aside some to make special for her. She loves asking for her treat by softly tapping on my boyfriend's leg. "Hey, down here." This has become what Luna is known for- politely asking for her treat! Luna mostly likes to play by herself in the area where our shoes are located. We toss a toy to her in that area and she enjoys trying to get the toy out from the shoes! She behaves wild during this time!
The most unique quality that Luna possesses is her keen attention to how her humans are feeling. I'd call this compassion. Whenever we are sick, she seems to know and makes it a point to lie near or on us. She can be skittish at times, but most often she is calm and sweet, and will give you a tender lick on the hand.
Luna Grace, who is 14 years young, should be America's Favorite Pet because for many, many years I have said that if everyone lived with a cat like Luna, their days would be so much better. They would know what unconditional love is and always have a friend to come home to. She has taught us how to be better, kinder humans. Our day-to-day world is a better place because we are able to interact with her, love her, and take care of her.
