What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Mango lives for plush toys. His favorite game is fetch followed by carefully destroying the hardest parts like tags, ears, furry bits, and limbs. Cow toys are the best, but his absolute favorite is any toy his brother has first. He loves almost all treats, but oddly draws the line at certain peanut butter crackers. He knows what he likes and is not afraid to judge.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Mango talks back. If you tell him to stop, he will slap his paw down in pure disapproval and continue anyway. Hands are never just hands. They are for play fighting, and if we use them while talking, Mango sees it as his duty to remind us who is boss. He has never met a stranger and will pull on his leash just to say hi. He is insanely bouncy and jumps so high you would think he has pogo sticks for legs, especially if you are at the door or holding a chicken nugget.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Mango came into my life at exactly the right time and quickly became the center of our world. He fills our home with joy, laughter, and constant entertainment. He even softened his older, very cranky brother Alaska, even though Alaska pretends otherwise. Everyone Mango meets ends up smiling, even the most serious people we see in the elevator. His happiness is contagious, and he has a special way of reminding people to slow down, smile more, and enjoy the little moments.
