Because of his partial blindness and neurological issues from being struck by a car he doesn’t have the best peripheral vision and sometimes runs into things while chasing his toys, so we have to keep a close eye on him!
Markus’ most unique quality is that he is not afraid of any human. He will literally curl up in anyone’s lap and ask for pets. He is so trusting and sweet despite being a former street cat, which makes me want to be a better person. I love this cat so much.
Markus is a resilient, fearless, kind cat who has overcome so much adversity in his life. When I show my friends and family before/after photos of him and explain all this sweet boy has endured, everyone is awe-inspired by his strength. Markus is a true survivor but does not let the pain from his past define him. I tell myself if Markus can survive a brutal car accident and still be loving and trusting of humans, I can do anything.
