What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Marley's favorite toy is a stuffed penguin with squeaker in it. She always carries around a toy in her mouth and when she lays down she uses it for a chin rest. She has a toy box full if toys but her penguin is what she gets to play with every time its playtime. Her favorite treat is bacon.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Marley's most unique quality is her attention to feelings and emotions. She is very in tune to our feelings and emotions and is always on top of trying to take care of us. If one of us is sad she is right there to give loves, if we are down she is bringing us toys to play, and if one if us is hurt she tries to console us with a paw, loves, and if its a wound she wants to try care for the area by licking it. She is so very compassionate.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Marley acts more like a human than a dog. Her life before we rescued her was full of loss, let downs, sadness, distrust, and instability. She shows her appreciation and gratefulness to us every day in different ways. She has the most amazing loving beautiful soul! After all she has been through she still finds it in her heart to show trust, love, care, empathy, compassion, and gratefulness. She is truly one of a kind!
