Maverick likes to hold hands. He’s done this since he was a puppy. Even relaxing around the house, he’ll throw a paw on you to hold. ❤️ He also likes to carry things. He used to carry my mail in for me when we lived in an apartment. He also carries his own leash, the trash, and I’ve even gotten him to hold a paint brush and paint. 🎨
Maverick is the unicorn of German Shepherds, and dogs in general. He’s the all American best boy!! He’s my best friend - I’ve had him since he was 10 weeks old. I walked into his crate and asked if he wanted to be my friend and he licked my face - and the rest is history! I’m getting him certified to be a therapy dog so we can go to nursing homes and hospitals to visit people. He loves people and had such a good personality! Goodest boy ever!! He deserves this. He’s my heart dog!
