Memphis is a sweet 10 year old dog who is just as lively as when he was a puppy. He loves to run around the yard playing fetch and pup cups.

Memphis has an extremely sensitive sense of smell and hearing. He can smell people and hear noises from across the street even when people are cooking and the tv is on, although he has relaxed a little with age, and the ups drivers can sneak a delivery or two now he is still very alert. Another “unique” quality of Memphis is nowadays he refuses to eat his food without a little bit of stock on it. And he has decided after getting homemade a few times that store bought is no longer acceptable.
Memphis is a very sweet dog, and very protective of his home and people. He had a rougher start as a puppy and was found in a field with his siblings in Tennessee, where they think he may have been abused due to the condition the rescue found him in, but despite all of that and a few times his nerves got the best of him, he has always managed to be gentle and trust that he is safe with us. Memphis is a great example of dogs that while nervous can also be trusting and full of personality.
