Mia has become my wife’s MS balance guardian. She has an instinctive way of staying close, pacing herself beside my wife, and gently bracing when her balance is off. With quiet confidence, she watches for uneven ground, slows beside her when she rushes, and gives her the courage to move through the world with Multiple Sclerosis — not as a patient, but as a team. Mia is 11 and is starting to slow down but her love and devotion is forever. She’s our favorite and should be America’s favorite too
