He demands respect and needs to go outside to attack trees and catch mice. He follows me like a dog, Comes when I call him with the harmonica or whistle. Rides the elevator like a Boss. he's sweet and salty. He's more like a miniature 🐯 than a house cat. I have had to learn how to live with that after having regular house cats my entire life. Gato is different from any cat I've ever raised. He's taught me patience and what he needs to be happy. I thought I knew cats until Gato.
He's uniquely different from the average cat. People are generally fascinated when they see me go outside with the harmonica and play it for him to come and he always does from wherever he's at. He'll be 15 in March. He came from a hoarder situation and was 2 months old when I got him. We've been though a lot together including being homeless living in a van just last summer.
