Mr. Red’s most unique quality is that he feels like a cartoon dog come to life. From his expressive eyes and floppy ears to his dramatic hound howls and big heart, he brings joy wherever he goes and makes everyone around him smile.
Mr. Red was once an owner surrender at a kill shelter through no fault of his own. Despite the odds, he found his forever family, with parents who spoil him and a sister, Luna (husky), who showed him what it meant to feel loved. Though Luna sadly passed last year from canine lymphoma, he carries her spirit with him every day. Red’s journey from surrender to cherished family member is a powerful reminder of the resilience of rescue dogs and why he deserves to be America’s favorite.
