Being 2+ years diabetic, his favorite treats now are cucumber, celery, and bell peppers. But every now and then he does get spoiled with a pigs ear or dried chicken….when I can’t resist his puppy dog eyes.🥰
Nick likes to have what I call ‘ crazy ears’ . He moves his ears in tons of directions and not both in the same way sometimes. It always puts a huge smile on my face when he does this. Fav is straight back when sitting still - like he’s going 1000mph 😂
Nick was adopted at a year old from Vegas from a puppy mill. We took him home and immediately he was part of the family. When I got him back in 2021 when my ex was moving up north I was ecstatic to have my boy back. He was over 40lbs and physically miserable though. I spent years retraining, resocializing and exercising. When he got his diabetes diagnosis in 2023 I didn’t give up on him and I put him first above everything. He deserves to win because he is so resilient and has come so far !!. 🥹
