Octavius’ most unique quality is his ability to sense who is at the door or outside. If it’s the mailman, he barks aggressively as if he thinks he would do anything but try to get free scratches. However, if it is my fiance or parents, he whines as if he hasn’t seen them in a year. Octavius has tremendous intuition and can feel the energy from those he is around.
Octavius represents everything Americans value when it comes to rising from the bottom and arriving at a better place. He started off as a dog that was dumped at the side of the road and thrown into the pound. When he was adopted he was terrified of cars and going outside. Now, he has a loving family and neighbors that love being around him. The local school children also love seeing him on walks as well! Octavius’ redemption story is truly what all Americans would want to see from any pet.
