Peanut definitely has preferences. When it comes to snacks, he loves things that are simple and natural. His favorite is the Bully Eye dried beef liver treats, and he’s also obsessed with collagen bones from the pet store. If it smells fresh and real, he’s all in. Playtime is where his personality really comes out. He loves tug games and his favorite is our little “bite game.” When I say, “ready, set, attack,” he pretends to attack and bite, but he’s incredibly gentle. It’s all play, no pressur.
Peanut’s most unique quality is He’s incredibly in tune with the people around him. He knows when it’s time to be playful and he knows when it’s time to be calm, grounding, and close. It’s not something he was taught, it’s just who he is. Even when he plays, he’s thoughtful. He can pretend to “attack” during games, but he’s always gentle and controlled. he understands trust and boundaries instinctively. That same awareness carries into everyday life he makes the people around him feel seen.
Peanut should be America’s Favorite Pet because he represents comfort, connection, and unconditional love. He’s playful and goofy, yet deeply intuitive and grounding. As a Chihuahua–pug mix, he embodies the best of both worlds: small but mighty, calm, confident, and secure in himself. He’s loving without being clingy, alert without being noisy, and proof that big hearts don’t come in one size. I can’t wait for you guys to meet my perfect bundle of joy.
