Pearl was adopted out at almost age 3 because she couldn’t get pregnant/produce a litter. We think she’s PERFECT just the way she is!!

Pearl loves meaty dog treats! She enjoys the great INdoors to potty on her potty pads (can you blame her?!) So she earns turkey treats when she goes outside. She has a purple stuffed animal she brought with her when we adopted her that she loves to rough around at night with after a full belly.
Pearl honest to goodness loves everyone!! She is THE MOST friendly dog. The lady we adopted her from described her as a “sweetheart”, and she is 100%. I’m so thankful she was no longer wanted when she couldn’t breed, because she came to live with us 12/31/24 and is living her BEST LIFE! Now we are too! You’ll never meet a more loving dog. She IS America’s Favorite!! Everyone loves Pearl! Even my virtual co-workers voted Pearl our team mascot! Her unique quality is bringing people JOY!
Pearl is the epitome of second chances! And Americans love and NEED second chances! When her breeder/home couldn’t keep her anymore (she had almost 3 years to produce a litter), she was put up for adoption. We don't want our little 10 pound mini Dachshund to do anything in life but BE LOVED! So it was a perfect fit! She needed us- but we needed her! We’d just become empty nesters, and she filled a huge void. Now she spends her days bringing joy to family, friends, neighbors. She is LOVE!
