What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MorePenny loves her stuffed birthday cake and her chew bones. She picks which color she wants and chews them next to me on the couch. Her go-to treats are fresh pieces of turkey (when the deli drawer opens, she comes running down) and her lean treats - chewy meat treats that she gets for volunteering and when she needs to take medicine.
Penny has the most calming and sweet disposition. Everyone that meets and interacts with her immediately falls in love. She is patient, tolerant and extremely loving. She also has a unique habit of only barking at dogs on TV. She never barks at a dog in person, just when we watch TV. It’s the craziest thing - could be a horse or cow too! Actually any 4- legged friend.
Penny is OUR favorite and getting the chance to have America fall in love with her too would be our greatest gift. She gives so much joy, smiles and kindness in our community that America is missing out not getting some of her sweetness. She’s our lucky Penny and we hope America gets a chance to meet her.
