Karen is only 2.8lbs and her favorite toys are cat toys! She loves to play rough with us, and “attack” her tiny toys while she growls! Her wheelchair, although not a toy allows her the freedom to run, play, and socialize with people and other dogs. Her personality is full of love and joy! Karen loves all seafood treats, fresh watermelon, cucumbers and pizza crust!
Her most unique quality is her attitude! Despite being paralyzed after an accident, there is nothing this little girl won’t attempt! We started making paw print flower paintings with her paralyzed feet to help share her story and find a way to change the negative narrative regarding handicapped animals. We call Karen handi-capable and she inspires so many with her positive attitude and love for life. She is truly unstoppable , a girl with big dreams, I’m just happy to help her achieve them!
Everyone who meets Karen smiles. It’s important to remind people that as long as you have a positive outlook, are surrounded by love and support you can do anything! Karen’s story should be told because it will inspire people. Her impact is undeniable. Children, elderly, everyone is touched by this tiny dog and her can-do mentality. I want the world to know how lucky I am to have her, see her beautiful artwork, and inspire others who may be dealing with obstacles, to keep on going!
