Learn MorePepper must have been a cat in another life because she loves playing chase with her favorite toy tied to a cat wand! We always say her favorite toy is the newest one, so we rotate the toy tied to the wand and she goes crazy! Pepper’s favorite treat is whatever her humans are having for dinner! It’s an extra good night when they are having steak or chicken.
Pepper is quite the silent observer. She never barks or makes noise, but needs to be in the know about what’s happening around her. While most dogs bark at outside noise, Pepper just sits and quietly observes.
When Pepper first came home from the shelter, she was fearful, anxious, and unsure of her surroundings. All she had known was living in shelters without love or affection from humans. Despite her background, she slowly learned to trust and show more personality. She has become confident, silly, and loves her humans immensely. Pepper is the epitome of resilience and her story will hopefully inspire others to rescue. There are so many dogs like Pepper that need loving homes!
