Petey is kinda partial to his LambChop squeakies, he has two, but he doesn't seem to have a preference between the two. He runs to the bedroom to greet me with one of them when I get home. His favorite treats are actually dried salmon and poultry flavors, chicken or duck.
He is NOT SHY!!! He is the MASCOT at our local convenience store. He knows they have treats in there for him, so when we go in he goes right around to the end of the counter and waits, patiently, for the CSR to give him his treat. If someone comes in, he goes right up to them, turns his butt to them so they can give him butt scratches. If they don't do it, he will rub his hip against their leg so they will!! And he ALWAYS announces his arrival when we go somewhere so he can get butt scratches!
Petey is very lovable and loves everyone. He KNOWS he's cute and EVERYONE tells me about it. He never fails to put a smile on our blind neighbor's face!! He "talks" to us with his little grunts and growls, not angry growls, playful, gerrr, gerrr. And he understands exactly what I'm saying. He gives so much joy and happiness to everyone he meets!!
