Learn MoreBy far, Piper’s favorite toys are the rings that are around the opening of plastic gallon milk cartons. She brings them to you and drops them at your feet…then scoots back and hunches down and waits for you to throw them so that she can chase them and then bring them back to do it all again! She is the perfect “fetch” kitty.
Piper is the only cat we’ve ever had that you feel like you can have a conversation with. When you call her name, she answers with a meow. If you continue to talk to her…and pause your words…she will answer you with more meows. Back and forth it goes. She loves to chat!
Piper was rescued as a tiny kitten in a public park in the city of Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Her mother had sadly died. She was so feral, her rescuers had to wear oven mitts for protection. We knew the second we saw her at a rescue event that she had to come home with us. And the first time we held her, she stared at us with those big dark eyes, curled up and purred forever. She leads a cushy life now…and she hasn’t stopped talking and purring and loving on us. She’s beautiful inside and out!
