Learn MorePluto is obsessed with little fuzzy toy mice, especially the ones that rattle. She plays actual fetch and expects me to throw them back like it’s my job. Her only acceptable treats are Bonkers Finger Lickin’ Chicken, tuna Churu squeeze treats, and any kind of cat broth because she loves to slurp. Other than that, she’s extremely picky and not food motivated at all.
Pluto loves laying on the rug looking super cute, tummy out, paws tucked under her chin, rolling around and squeaking. The second I try to pet her, she stands up and walks away. Like, why look that cute if you don’t want pets? She also has full conversations with me and is definitely sentient, she’s just avoiding taxes at this point. The only way she allows herself to be held is sitting on someone’s shoulder with her paws perched there. Any other way is unacceptable and you will get scratched.
Pluto has been with me since I was 19 and has moved with me four times. I got her when I had almost nothing, and she’s been my constant ever since. She bed rots with me on bad days, keeps me on a routine, and gives me a reason to get up when my mental health makes things hard. She’s resilient, hilarious, super cool, and honestly everyone deserves to know her. Plus, she needs the exposure to boost her ego and secure her next term as mayor of Weenie Town (very competitive race).
