He’s just Ralph. I’m chronically ill and he never leaves my side. He’s there in my good days and bad. He’s just the bestest boy ever.

His patience. Unlike his dog brothers who have to have what they want right now, Ralph chills until it’s his turn. Kids and seniors are instantly drawn to him and he provides so much love and light, especially he sits pretty for belly scratches or spins in a circle for treats. Never pushy or jumpy.
Because he’s loves everyone, he’s the best boy for me of course, he also joins me at the local nursing home to cheer up lonely seniors. He’s great with kids who are afraid of animals. He’s an old soul, born Christmas Day here to make the world a better place. He sure has for me. On my bad days he will stay in bed with me all day and night. It’s a struggle to get him to leave my side, even to eat, drink or use the bathroom. He’s just a gift.
