Ricky was adopted with his litter mate and sister… we named her Lucy! They were inseparable. She died 3 1/2 years ago due to a malignant melanoma in her jaw. He totally shut down. Our vet suggested we “mix up his daily schedule”. My husband is a Funeral Director, we own our business, and started to bring him to “work”. He comes to “work” with us and our families ADORE him. If we win, our platform could detail of how important pets are during grief and how they help us to heal.
