Rosie is a senior dog who is very smart, loving, and has a mean side eye. She sleeps all morning so when we get home she can beg for treats!
Thank you for supporting Rosie in this year's competition. Your participation allows us to aid PAWS in their mission to help cats, dogs, and wild animals thrive in happy, healthy homes or in their natural habitats.
What is America's Favorite Pet?
Learn MoreRosie loves her small Lambie stuffed toys and has them in all colors and sizes. Her favorite toy, however, is her very first baby chicken.
Rosie will do anything to get a good laugh! Smile, paw your leg, drag her butt, and burp. In our very first house, she would go up the seven steps of the tri level, grab things in her mouth and wait for you to look before she would drop it down the steps.
Rosie is a senior sassy girl who steals the hearts of family, friends, and strangers. She is resilient, having been through medical procedures, and a recent diagnosis of Cushing’s disease. She is calm, loves to be out and about with us, and tolerates when I put her in cute dresses and sweaters. Anytime she has to burp, she will find one of us and make sure she burps in our face. She has lived in the Wisconsin snow and cold, in the Florida heat, and now South Carolina where she loves the beach!
