Roux is particularly fond of anything stuffed or soft - toys, throw pillows, even blankets. For toys that he holds dear though, he won't destroy them and instead is very careful with them. He loves all treats too - especially protein treats like jerky. There's nothing he would say no to though!
Roux is the most loving beast. He is so in tune with his humans and fur sister; and he loves his grandparents to no end. He has a girlfriend dog, Betty Boop, who he adores too. He does whatever I ask and is basically perfect. He is an excellent travel buddy and always up for an adventure or a field trip. He's a natural model too and deserves to be seen by the entire world!
When we met Roux as an almost 5-month old puppy he was living outdoors in a kennel in Louisiana and was going to be trained to hunt deer. But something told me we were meant to change his trajectory. We weren't looking to bring home a dog - it just happened. He rides along sometimes when I volunteer in our local shelters and has been an excellent foster brother to several shelter pups. He really is living the American dream now and is a great ambassador for modern dogs everywhere!
