What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Sal loves stuffed pet toys because he can destroy them quickly. However, even with the stuffing out, he uses them as a tug toy. His favorite treat is a carrot, although he also loves peanut butter treats.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Sal will play “fetch” by himself. He will throw his toy, flip it and then go get it. He will keep this up until he gets tired. Perhaps he does this because he knows his owners are on the older side?

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Sal has a lovable face with expressive human eyes and disposition. He will go to anyone. While walking, he is stopped by anyone in his path so they can pet him. He doesn’t have an aggressive bone in his body. If another dog in his path gets a bit aggressive, he just waits for them to calm down and then goes in again. He loves being the “neighborhood watch dog”. He sits at a window and watches the people and pets coming and going. Most importantly, Sal is the best company!
