4 years ago I adopted Sam from the Pound and have grown to love him deeply. He adores us as much as seen by his attention !.

His hearing! He hears things before we do. He is both a house dog and an outdoor dog. He goes to the door or window long before a person appears but he heard a car door or dogs barking and he is in alert mode. He is protective of my husband and myself in a good way.
He was an abandoned in the humane society dog pound and I watched Facebook info about him for 30 days and no one claimed him and I went and he chose me! He has always been sweetheart! Sometimes independent. But very loving and very smart. I had just got in remission from Stage 4 cancer and thought this dog would be a good walking companion. I find he gives my nerves a calmness that is hard to explain. So as it turns out He rescued me!
