Sam's a big fan of Kong Wubba toys, dock diving bumpers and dog puzzles. For treats, he really loves Ryoken Instinct adventure ready bars, Farm Hounds duck strips and King Lou duck feet.
I think his most unique physical quality is his brindle coat. We joke that it looks like a russet potato, so we call him "The Flying Potato" when he's competing in dock diving. He currently competes in three disciplines in the sport, but the most impressive thing about his pool time is how fast he can swim. You wouldn't think an 80-lb dog could clear the length of the pool in under 7 seconds, but he does!!
Samson deserves to be America's Favorite dog because he works exceptionally hard to help change people's minds about shelter dogs. His social media platforms have been used to raise money & collect donations for local rescues & the shelter that he was adopted from. If he wins, we plan to donate a large portion of the prize money to the continued efforts of Friends of City Dogs Cleveland, Mercy’s Door Pet Rescue & Fido’s Companion.
