Sapphire is a treat connoisseur who lives for anything salmon or chicken. Her absolute favorites are Mega Chicken Crunchy Temptations and Sheba salmon meaty tender sticks. When it comes to toys, she believes everything is a toy—plastic wrappers, boxes, hair ties she proudly steals, and even my makeup brushes. If it’s playful, she’s in.
Sapphire’s most unique quality is her pure, affectionate heart. She greets love with total trust—flopping onto her back for belly rubs, rolling happily, and purring nonstop. She’s incredibly social, playful with her dog siblings Smudge and Shadow, and she knows exactly how to “turn it on” for her favorite people, especially grandma and uncle. She radiates kindness.
Sapphire represents what rescue pets are all about—second chances, unconditional love, and joy in the everyday. Since being rescued in 2019, she has filled our home with warmth, laughter, and comfort. She’s endlessly gentle, deeply affectionate, and reminds everyone she meets how healing an animal’s love can be.
