What is America's Favorite Pet?

What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Real bones and anything that squeaks (but she'll eat anything that squeaks that then comes out like crap, so she isn’t allowed to have them). She has tunnel vision whenever she sees a smaller animal, such as a squirrel or rabbit, but sometimes we can get her to focus back on us thanks to some of the obedience training she has been working on. As for treats, I don't think there is a treat she doesn't like. She is not into her greens though (like broccoli and lettuce).

What is your dog's most unique quality?

She howls when we play instruments in the house. She howls more when maybe the playing of the instruments doesn’t sound good too. Haha On a couple of occasions she has howled on her own just in the backyard. She was like a howling coyote or wolf. She also has been a great playmate for our son. She handles him well when he tries to climb her. She can be a bit much at times with her playing, but I think she could be a great therapy dog with some training later on.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

She is cute and really is a lovable dog! I also love seeing her with our kids too. And she is great with her fur sister. Whenever our cat is ready to play, Sasha can be found chasing her. Our cat is very stealthy, unlike Sasha who can be heard as she clumsily chases Selby upstairs and downstairs. She is a great family member, and has to probably be the most popular dog when we take her on walks. We always get people wanting to pet her. She is always willing to get any attention.
