SCOUT

He's a long haired Weimaraner that I call my singing shadow. He follows me around everywhere and howls when we sing to music.

What is America's Favorite Pet?

What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

I’m his favorite toy—he gently nibbles my hands until he gets attention and cuddles. Occasionally, he’ll grab his stuffed sheep and toss it in the air for fun. His must-have treat is Amazon Wonder Bound Dental Sticks, served precisely at 5:30 pm. Even a minute late and he stares and barks until he gets one. Chewys are THE only acceptable substitution—he takes his treats very seriously.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

His most unique quality is that he looks and sounds like he stepped out of a storybook. Long-haired Weimaraners are rare, and he takes it even further with a Whoville-style hairstyle that makes him resemble a Dr. Seuss Who. Pair that with his love of ‘singing’—howling along whenever humans are singing—and he could fit right into Whoville itself. His appearance and musical spirit make him truly one of a kind.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

He should win because he’s more than a pet—he’s my constant companion. A rare long-haired Weimaraner with a Whoville hairstyle, he’s unforgettable at first glance. As my singing shadow, he follows me everywhere and howls along whenever music plays. He lays at my feet, comforts me without asking, and fills our home with laughter and love every day. His loyalty, joy, and gentle spirit are what make him truly America’s favorite.
