What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Tava enjoy’s chewing on anything, but especially loves his giant rope toys. He could play with them for hours. He will present you with his rope toys almost as gifts, but then he has what I call his “left hook”, where just as you think you are about to win the game of tug of war, he slams down with his paw to knock your hand out of the way. I have yet to wear him out playing tug of war. He will chew stuffies to pieces. Unless they are mini sized. He prefers to carry tiny stuffies in his mouth.

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Tava’s full name (Tavakaavi) means “sun mountain” He really is my son-shine. He has given me strength with his love and loyalty. He is a lilac tricolor American Bully XL. There is a silver sheen in his tan coat. As far as personality, he is a very emotional guy. He really loves to be loved and has endless love to give, no matter who you are. Not a mean bone in his big 108 pound body. His personality really makes him more human than dog. He was also born on St. Patrick’s Day! He is a lucky guy.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Tava should be America’s favorite because everywhere I go he gets compliments just for being himself. I got Tava from a friend of mine in Colorado. I knew as soon as I saw him I needed him. He flew first class across the country to me (I have never even flown first class!) He brings awareness to the Bully Breed and shows how if raised correctly, these kinds of dogs are not to be feared, but loved. Tava brings a smile to everyone’s face. Together we can promote awareness for animals in need.
