Tenko’s favorite toy is a fishing pole that has feathers and bells. When he’s not being a lazy boy and napping of course. His favorite treats are tuna with salmon churus. Sometimes I have to bribe him with those.
His most unique physical quality is his ears. If you look in his photos, one ear is folded up due to cauliflower ear. When I took him in from being a stray, he had a bad ear infection and had them when he was younger as well, which cause that ear to fold in like that. His other ear is clipped to show he’s been neutered and then released. Personality wise, he is sweet, but a scaredy cat with other male cats.
I feel like Tenko deserves to be America’s Favorite, because he’s always been looked over. He was a stray, scared of humans until one decided to sit everyday on the porch for a week to gain his trust. He’s gone from living on the street to sleeping next to the human who took time to bring him inside. He’s so sweet and just needed someone to see past his grumpy face. He just needed someone to give him a chance.
