She is deaf and blind, but able to understand sign language in front of her face. She also is able to play fetch by smelling out the ball and bringing it back.
She was born blind and deaf but is still able to understand the world around her. She survived three days in a crevice until rescuers found her 50 feet down and found a way to bring her up. She got a second chance at life and has been an inspiration to everyone she meets. She completed all phases of obedience training and is is the process of getting certified to be a therapy dog. She has a children’s book published about her rescue called “Toffee’s Great Rescue”.
