Tucker’s favorite toy is a bright green frog with two squeakers in it. Squeezing both at the same time brings out his husky side and makes him go into a zoomie frenzy! His favorite treat is anything that smells yummy. His nose is incredible, leading him to find treats that were never meant to be his. As much as we try to prevent it, he’s known to take a snooze on top of the kitchen table, but not before cleaning the crumbs left behind & using the better vantage point to scout for hidden treats.
Tucker’s most unique quality is his ability to smile. It’s rare to see a dog with such a distinct smile and receiving much deserved pets always brings it out. He loves all pets from anyone and everyone, but you’ll know he’s loving yours if he rolls over and shows you his full and happy belly. Though if you’d ask him, he’d tell you there’s more room in that belly.
Tucker deserves to be America’s favorite dog because he represents American perseverance. He survived two years on his own before we could adopt him. When we picked him up from the shelter he was malnourished and had broken front teeth. So although we joke about his never ending appetite, he deserves every treat whether we give it to him or he finds it on his own. He’s the greatest companion and greatest pet. And we couldn’t ask for a better or more handsome dog.
