Vin loves squeaky toys, especially his lobster and snowman (snowman has been sewed back together three times). He also loves licking peanut butter out of a Kong and he goes bananas for popcorn, pup cups, and french fries.
Physically, he is missing both eyes and back leg due to trauma in Mexico. He also had a broken jaw that healed and many wounds across his side that are like a constellation of stars now. He not only survived all of this, but is the sweetest, most loving, trusting and affectionate dog we have ever known. He is a certified dogtors therapy dog and visits children's hospitals and schools weekly. The stories we could tell you! He is a miracle dog who is a living reminder to never give up.
The hundreds of times Vinny makes sick/scared kids happy in their hospital rooms, how often he's helped my husband (a Veteran with PTSD), my kids when they're sick, me (Mama) if I'm down - this soul intuitively knows when someone needs his love and goes right to them, knowing. He has every legit reason not to trust humans, yet he does, unconditionally; so many obstacles to survival, yet he thrives. Every day this angel in a dog suit wakes up, wags his tail as if to say, 'another day? Woo hoo!'
