My Wink is a rescue from my local shelter he has one eye thus the name Wink . He's very loyal and funny. He loves his walks and cuddles.

Winks favorite toy would be the first toy I gave him after he came home with me . I gave him a small stuffed lamb that squeaks ! And at first he was sick with kennel cough and recovering from his eye surgery. I had to give him antibiotics, he was a wee 7 pounds . But once he got to feeling better he started eating and playing with his new toy . His favorite treat is Milk bone dog biscuits. He especially likes the beef gravy and peanut butter kind .
My Winks strongest unique quality is resilience . In the face of being taken off the streets and into the shelter sick with a very infected eye and the only small dog in the shelter he fought to live .
I feel that Wink should be America's favorite pet because he's a true example of courage. He has come a long way from being a skittish scared dog to a lion hearted , loveable , quirky and loyal friend .
