What's your dog’s favorite toy and/or go-to treat?

Zazu loves our cats cat-nip pouches and her little mice toys! He is always sneaking over to her pile of toys!!

What is your dog's most unique quality?

Zazu’s most unique quality is how he shows love. When he really likes someone, he happily circles and weaves between their legs instead of jumping or barking. It’s his signature greeting. At our community dog park, everyone knows this, so when they see Zazu coming, they automatically spread their legs to make room for him. If you ever see a group of people standing wide-legged at the park, it’s because Zazu is there—and because we all love him back.

Why should your dog be America’s Favorite?

Zazu should be America’s favorite pet because, even as a puppy, he brings nonstop joy and heart. He gets wild zoomies around our apartment and follows us everywhere like a little shadow. At the dog park, his best friend is a husky. He adores wrestling with dad but is gentle enough to stop, grab a toy, and bring it back when he gets too excited. He’s not very cuddly, but when he’s tired he won’t leave mom’s side and will lay on my feet anywhere I am, fighting sleep before burying his face
