He loves his Bark Box Lighthouse throw toy. We play with that outside everyday. His favorite treat is probably the Denti Stix we buy him to help keep his teeth clean
I cherish when he rests his head on my chest and gazes up at me. It feels like his way of saying, "Thank you for rescuing me and for all the love."
He represents a joyful resolution to the tragic issue of dog dumping. Abandoned on Bolivar Peninsula, he waited for three weeks, morning and evening, for his owners to return. Desperate to reunite, he even tried to board the ferry but was turned away. Finally, he attempted swimming across the ship channel back to Galveston Island. We discovered him halfway, struggling, with a dolphin by his side. We rescued him and brought him aboard our boat, where he found his forever home.
